Shari , CDA, RDA, RDH
Hygienist
Shari is a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) and also holds a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) and Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license.
Born in San Francisco, she is a Bicentennial graduate of Mount Eden High School and received her A. A. from Chabot College in their Dental Assisting Program. She received her RDH from University of Texas, San Antonio, Allied Health. She has worked in the dental profession since 1979 and as a Hygienist, in private general dental practice since 1995.
She has also given back to the community and dental profession by serving as a Volunteer RDH for the Alameda Dental Public Health Department and in the Grassroots Sealants Program K-12 for the Alameda Unified School District. Since 2008, she has also been a Volunteer Co-Sponsor Chair for the Chabot Dental Health Education Fund Committee, a non-profit organization providing Continuing Education Courses for Dental Professionals in our community.
She is happy to have joined our practice in 2017 and prides herself on helping our patients keep their teeth and gums healthy. In her spare time, she enjoys motorcycle riding with her husband and making memorable adventures with her grandkids.
